Nancy has 20 years experience consulting to major corporations from
both inside and outside in the areas of organization and staff development,
assisting clients in building effective, well-run businesses, and
coaching. She works closely with clients to strategically align her
efforts with the goals, objectives and culture of the organization.
Her areas of expertise include organizational development, learning
design and development, facilitation, team building, coaching, and
competency model development.
Before joining LED, Nancy was Director of Learning and Development
at JP Morgan Chase for the Investor Services business. Building the
function from the ground up, Nancy eventually managed a department
of 85 performance consultants in 9 regional service centers around
the globe serving a population of 7,000 employees. She handled projects
as diverse as designing and implementing the change management strategy
for two mergers and a major relocation of staff; developing innovative
entry training programs and protocols which lowered turnover of entering
staff from over 60% to 14%; and building business-specific curricula
that had the flexibility and rapid-development capability to provide
just-in-time training as new products and systems were developed.
In her prior roles, Nancy started and managed her own consulting
practice with a focus on Change Management and methodologies for helping
corporations mold the cultures of their institutions. She was also
Manager of Employee Relations/Human Resources for Yankelovich, Skelly
and White, a market and social research firm. As the originator of
that position Nancy build the full complement of HR services including
a performance management system, training and development standards,
competency models to improve the quality of hiring decisions, organization
development and teambuilding activities.
Nancy holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University.
Prior to her work in the corporate world, she served in the Peace
Corps and the American Friends Service Committee. She is active in
her community and has traveled and lived extensively abroad. She has
published several articles, the most recent of which is, "Keeping
Pace in a Rapidly Changing Environment."
She has received many awards for her work including, Excellence in
Management and Diversity Champion and has spoken at conferences and
professional meetings.
