Beth Mead provides marketing and communications expertise to leading
companies, helping them communicate effectively to employees and
market intelligently to clients.
During her twenty year career, she has developed internal and external
programs to support organizations in transition: from mergers and
acquisitions to relocations and large-scale systems initiatives.
Beth specializes in making complex topics easy to understand, customizing
material to fit the information needs of different audiences. Her
background in Human Resources uniquely positions her as an advocate
for both management and employees, creating clear internal communications
that foster understanding between the two. She has worked extensively
with diversity and inclusion programs, as well as initiatives that
support women’s leadership development.
She is equally experienced in B2B and B2C marketing. She has developed
programs that support direct sales, relationship management, account
acquisition and customer retention. In addition to direct marketing,
she is experienced in media relations, and television and print advertising.
Beth began her career at Citibank in Human Resources, where she
supported a diverse international corporate finance business. Upon
request, she created a marketing department for that business. After
moving to the ADR group, Beth was recruited by JPMorgan Chase to
develop an internal communications program to support a key business
acquisition. Drawing on her HR and marketing experience, she then
managed external marketing and internal communications programs to
support the business as it tripled in growth. During her tenure,
she developed strategies to support additional business acquisitions,
firm-wide mergers, industry-wide initiatives, and a relocation of
staff from Brooklyn to Texas.
In her next role, Beth was VP of marketing for BrownCo, JPMorgan
Chase’s online brokerage business. Her responsibilities included
marketing, advertising, media relations, customer retention, and
internal communications. Since 2001, Beth has provided consulting
services to various financial services businesses, the Financial
Women’s Association, and other firms.
Beth graduated from Dartmouth College with dual degrees in English
and Theatre. She is a member of The Financial Women’s Association,
The International Association for Women, and Women in Communication.
